The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic informs citizens planning to apply for non-immigrant B-1/B-2 visas (for tourism and business trips) to the United States about new requirements introduced by the American side.

According to information provided by the U.S. Department of State, starting from January 21, 2026, citizens of a number of countries, including Kyrgyzstan, will be required to make a financial deposit ranging from $5,000 to $15,000. The specific amount of the deposit will be determined by the consular officer during the interview.
Additionally, applicants must submit Form I-352 from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security only after receiving the appropriate instruction from the consular officer, as well as confirm their agreement to the deposit conditions through the payment platform of the U.S. Department of the Treasury, Pay.gov.
The Ministry wants to emphasize the following points:

Citizens who have received a visa with a financial deposit must enter and exit the U.S. only through the following airports:

Failure to comply with these conditions may result in denial of entry or issues with exiting the country.
It is worth noting that the inclusion of these countries in the list is related to the high frequency of visa rule violations committed by citizens of these states.
In this regard, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic strongly recommends that citizens planning trips to the U.S. familiarize themselves in advance with the new visa requirements, strictly adhere to the conditions for obtaining visas and the rules for staying in the U.S., and avoid violations of the visa and immigration legislation of the destination country.
