Rustam Kopeyev, a resident of the village of Ak-Chiy in the Ak-Suu district of the Issyk-Kul region, has been successfully engaged in metalworking for 15 years.

He was born on March 30, 1985, in Ak-Chiy and completed his education only up to the 7th grade, after which he obtained a profession as a gas and electric welder.

“Five years ago, I opened my own workshop, and before that, I worked in various workshops in Bishkek, where I gained experience. My father and grandfather were craftsmen, and their work inspired me. I strive to perform my work with quality and speed, which is why I have many clients who sometimes wait their turn,” says Kopeyev.

The main orders come for grain and fodder crushers, concrete mixers, gates, and fences. During the season, he attracts helpers.

“On average, I receive up to 15 orders for crushers per month. Some clients say kind words, which is very pleasant, while others can bring difficulties. But my business depends on the opinions of clients,” he adds.

In his free time, Rustam enjoys fishing and going out into nature.

He dreams of expanding his business and creating new jobs.

Rustam has two children.
