The press service of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Osh Region reported that a service check by the internal investigation service is being conducted regarding this incident. Based on its results, a legal assessment of the situation will be provided.
“At the moment, official conclusions regarding this incident have not yet been drawn,” the press service noted.
In accordance with the Law on Internal Affairs and the disciplinary charter of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, if a medical examination confirms the fact of an employee appearing at work in a state of alcohol intoxication, they must be temporarily suspended from performing official duties on the same day. Such actions are considered a serious violation of discipline and serve as grounds for initiating a service investigation.
Typically, such investigations take up to 30 days, and depending on their results, disciplinary measures may be applied to the employee, up to and including dismissal,” the statement said.
