The Director-General of UNESCO, Khaled Al-Anani, noted the important role of Kyrgyzstan in the organization's activities, especially in the area of cultural initiatives. He expressed readiness to consider the possibility of providing UNESCO patronage for two significant events held in the country: the VI World Nomad Games and the International Issyk-Kul Forum named after Ch. Aitmatov.
At the end of the meeting, both sides expressed hope for further strengthening practical cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and UNESCO, focusing on the implementation of new joint projects.
