This resolution aims for international recognition of the cultural, historical, and social significance of the nomadic lifestyle, as well as its contribution to global cultural diversity and sustainable development.

The document was presented by the Minister of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy of Kyrgyzstan, Mirbek Mambetaliev, who noted that the recognition of nomadic heritage at the UNESCO level will be an important step for its popularization and support for projects related to the study and transmission of this heritage to future generations.

Experts believe that the establishment of this day will enhance the international status of Kyrgyzstan as a country preserving nomadic culture, as well as open opportunities for the development of cultural diplomacy and ethnotourism. This will draw attention to the preservation of traditions, crafts, and intangible heritage, including the epic "Manas" and nomadic games.
