It was previously reported that on December 18, 2025, it became known that the deputy head of the Alay District Department of Internal Affairs came to work while in a state of alcoholic intoxication.
It was clarified that on that day, the employee underwent a medical examination, which took place around noon. The results confirmed the fact of intoxication – doctors recorded alcoholic intoxication (acute intoxication).
The press service of the Internal Affairs Department of the Osh region reported that in connection with this situation, the internal investigation service has initiated a check. Based on its results, a corresponding legal assessment will be provided.
The statement also emphasizes: “According to the legislation on internal affairs bodies and the disciplinary charter of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, if the medical examination confirms the state of alcoholic intoxication, the employee is subject to immediate temporary suspension from official duties. Such actions are considered a serious violation of discipline and serve as grounds for an internal investigation.”
