The opening ceremony of the new building of the Military Medical Service of the State National Security Committee took place in Bishkek, attended by the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov.

Addressing those present – officers, veterans, and honored guests, the president emphasized the importance of this event for strengthening the national security system. He highlighted that caring for the health of those who protect the country's sovereignty plays a key role in ensuring stability.

Sadyr Japarov also provided historical facts about the Military Medical Service, which was established in the early years of Kyrgyzstan's independence. In the 1920s, medical units operated under difficult conditions, and in 1951, the service became a separate structure with approved staffing units.

“The Military Medical Service, like other units of the GKNB, has always prioritized professionalism and responsibility,” the president added, noting that the construction of the new complex was initiated by the chairman of the GKNB, Kamchybek Tashiev.

The complex, covering an area of about 15,000 square meters, includes a military clinic with an operating room and intensive care unit, as well as a hospital offering specialized and inpatient care, including departments for cardiovascular diseases and general surgery.

Additionally, modern technologies and equipment have been implemented in the new medical center, which will significantly improve the quality of medical services, reduce treatment times, and accelerate patient rehabilitation.

The president emphasized that the Military Medical Service will be available not only to GKNB employees but also to servicemen of the border service, veterans, retirees and their families, as well as employees of judicial and law enforcement agencies, which will help relieve other medical institutions.

“The state will continue to pay attention to improving the material and technical base of law enforcement agencies,” he noted, confident that the modernization of the Military Medical Service will enable the staff to effectively carry out their tasks in ensuring security.

In conclusion, Sadyr Japarov inspected the offices and departments equipped with modern equipment, including magnetic resonance and computed tomography machines, as well as patient rooms, a conference hall, a cafeteria, and a gym.
