The incident happened on February 10 at around 18:00 in the village of Sovietskoye, located in the Bazar-Korgon district.
According to eyewitness reports, a passenger car drove out at a traffic light in front of a cargo truck transporting excavators. As a result of the collision, six people in the passenger car were injured and taken to the hospital. "The car suddenly darted in front of the truck, and the collision occurred," noted one of the witnesses.
The Traffic Safety Department of the Jalal-Abad region confirmed the information about the incident and reported that investigations are currently underway.
The chief physician of the Bazar-Korgon Center for General Medical Practice, Batyrbek Subankulov, stated that the condition of the injured is currently stable. "Six people were admitted to us after the accident. One of them is in intensive care with a moderate condition, while the other five are receiving treatment in the trauma department," he specified.
