In the Batken region, the replacement of power lines with self-supporting insulated wires (SIP) is currently being carried out by the local electric network enterprise.
It is planned that by 2026, 60 kilometers of aluminum wires operating at a voltage of 0.4–6/10 kV will be replaced with SIP-2 and SIP-3 cables in the region.
In particular, the following works will be carried out on overhead lines of 0.4–6/10 kV:
- As part of the capital construction, 16.25 km of new lines will be built using SIP;
- Reconstruction of 43.75 km of aluminum wires with replacement by SIP-2 and SIP-3 cables.
The works will be conducted in various RES:
- 15.5 km — Sulyukta RES;
- 6.82 km — Leilek RES;
- 12.38 km — Batken RES;
- 8.3 km — Kadamjai RES;
- 17 km — Kyzyl-Kiya RES.
The process of laying SIP cables will take place in stages in the Batken region from March to November.
These activities are part of a large-scale program to modernize the energy infrastructure aimed at ensuring quality and reliable electricity supply for the population.
The implementation of new technologies will increase the reliability of electrical networks, minimize the risk of accidents, reduce electricity losses, and guarantee uninterrupted power supply for the residents of the region.
Detailed information about where and when the works will be carried out will be published on the official website of the Batken branch of OJSC "NESC" — http://bpes.nesk.kg/ru/, as well as on the social media pages on Facebook and Instagram.
