Specialists are actively involved in the modernization work of the Jalal-Abad branch of OJSC "NES Kyrgyzstan".
According to the Ministry of Energy, to meet the growing electricity needs of the city of Manas, a 110/10 kV substation "Bakay" is planned to be built in 2026. This will ensure reliable electricity supply for the population, social facilities, and multi-story residential complexes.
As part of the modernization, three outdated energy facilities will also be updated:
- The building of the Kara-Kul RES,
- The building of the Kerben UES, which belongs to the Aksy RES,
- The building of the Uch-Terek UES, associated with the Toktogul RES.
In addition, it is planned to replace 5,000 reinforced concrete poles, convert 270 kilometers of overhead power lines to modern self-supporting insulated wires (SIP), and install 50 new transformers.
These works are aimed at improving the stability of electricity supply, enhancing the quality of services for the population, and ensuring transparency in the energy sector.
