Talant Eraliyev Appointed Director of the National Center for Cardiology and Therapy

Talant Eraliyev has become the new director of the National Center for Cardiology and Therapy named after M. Mirrakhimov, according to a statement from the Ministry of Health.

The previous head, Talant Sooronbaev, was relieved of his duties due to identified violations in the center's operations.

Talant Kakanovich Eraliyev, born in 1987, holds a higher medical education. He graduated from the S. M. Kirov Military Medical Academy in St. Petersburg in 2011 with a degree in "General Medicine," after which he completed an internship in surgery from 2011 to 2012 and then in 2012 finished a primary qualification course in interventional cardiology at the SEMA Medical Center in Almaty.

From 2012 to 2014, Eraliyev worked as a senior resident in the surgical department of the Military Hospital in Osh. In 2013-2014, he also served as an interventional cardiologist at the "Cardio Asia Plus" medical center.

From 2016 to 2022, he was the head of the surgical department of the Military Hospital in Osh, while also working as a physician in X-ray endovascular diagnostics and treatment at "Cardio Asia Plus," as well as an endovascular surgeon at the Osh Regional Unified Clinical Hospital.

From 2019 to 2023, Eraliyev served as the head of the medical service and deputy head of the Military Hospital in Osh. In 2022-2023, he also worked at the EUROCLINIC medical center and from 2022 to January 2026 at the "Kyrgyz-Russia" clinic in Osh.

He holds a PhD in medical sciences obtained from the E. N. Meshalkin Institute of Circulatory Pathology in Novosibirsk and is the chairman of the Kyrgyz Scientific Medical Society of X-ray Endovascular Surgeons.
