The online meeting organized by the Ministry of Health brought together Kyrgyz medical professionals working in countries such as Germany, the USA, the UK, Russia, and Middle Eastern states. This was reported by the press center of the Ministry of Health on January 26.

The event was led by Deputy Ministers Bakytbek Kadyraliev and Temirbek Erkinov. The main goal of the meeting was to exchange experiences and discuss international medical practices, as well as the possibility of involving doctors from abroad in the development of the healthcare system in Kyrgyzstan.

Participants shared their experiences working in leading medical institutions around the world and proposed ideas for improving healthcare in Kyrgyzstan. In particular, issues such as the implementation of modern technologies like bronchoscopy and NGS diagnostics, as well as the development of digital solutions and the enhancement of oncological, pulmonological, transplant, and anesthesiology care were discussed. Questions regarding hemodialysis, mobile clinics, simplifying the licensing process, and improving the qualifications of doctors were also raised.

Numerous proposals concerned human resources. Specialists expressed a desire to help train Kyrgyz doctors, organize internships, conduct lectures and expert presentations, as well as attract professors for surgeries and master classes. The issue of creating conditions for specialists to return to Kyrgyzstan and their involvement in professional projects was also relevant.

The deputy ministers emphasized that the participation of doctors working abroad is an important resource for the development of the healthcare sector. Among the discussed initiatives were the organization of regular meetings both offline and online in countries with a high concentration of Kyrgyz doctors, the possibility of participating in the Mirrahimov Readings, and involvement in digital and human resources reforms.

In conclusion, Bakytbek Kadyraliev thanked the participants on behalf of the Minister of Health Kanatbek Dosmambetov, highlighting the importance of supporting professional ties with compatriots abroad.

“One of the main challenges for our country remains the shortage of medical personnel. We are open to cooperation and will seek practical solutions that will help attract experience, knowledge, and technology in the interests of our patients,” he noted.
