Over 973,000 men in Kyrgyzstan have undergone screening. What diseases have been detected?

In 2025, a preventive examination for non-communicable diseases was conducted in Kyrgyzstan, involving over 973 thousand men, according to information from the Ministry of Health.

According to the results of the examinations, 119.6 thousand men (12%) were found to have elevated blood pressure. Additionally, 49.6 thousand participants (5%) were identified as having a high risk of cardiovascular diseases, while about 60.8 thousand men (6%) are at high risk of developing diabetes.

Over the year, 15,388 patients with diagnosed hypertension and 7,364 individuals with a diabetes diagnosis were registered for the first time.

According to statistics, in 2025, cardiovascular diseases were the cause of 16,644 deaths among the adult population of the country.
