At the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, Minister of Health Kanibek Dosmambetov announced the Ministry of Health's plans to conduct an inventory of healthcare facilities.
Deputy Mederbek Chotonov expressed the opinion that it would be more reasonable to build new institutions instead of renovating old hospitals. In this regard, he inquired about the plans for the construction of medical facilities in the Talas region.

In response, Minister Dosmambetov noted that there are currently no plans to build new hospitals in the Talas region, neither this year nor in the future. He clarified that work is underway to construct a new maternity hospital and added that the issue of building new medical facilities will be discussed only after the inventory is completed.

Chotonov also proposed building a new hospital in the village of Bakai-Ata, where the existing building is already outdated. He emphasized the need for a new hospital in the village of Semetey as well.
Additionally, the deputy suggested carrying out major repairs on the existing hospitals in the villages of Kyzyl-Adyr and Kyzyl-Zhildyz, noting that these buildings were constructed during the Soviet era and are in poor condition.

According to Chotonov, some hospitals do not have functioning elevators, and necessary equipment, such as vacuum devices for maternity wards and tomographs, is absent. As a result, patients suffering from strokes or heart attacks may remain without an accurate diagnosis for a long time. He also mentioned the lack of refrigeration equipment in morgues.
