At the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh on February 5, Deputy Venera Khамзаева raised an important issue regarding the lack of beds in the hospitals of Manas and the Suzak district.

She noted that the children's regional hospital, designed for 165 beds, is currently accommodating about 250 children, which leads to exceeding sanitary norms and overloading medical staff.

“The situation is critical; more places are needed for children,” emphasized the deputy, suggesting the creation of a new children's hospital with increased capacity.

Additionally, Khамзаева pointed out the problem of insufficient places in the Suzak hospital, where patients arriving by ambulance are forced to stay in the corridors.

Health Minister Kanbek Dosmambetov confirmed that he is aware of this issue. He stated that an inventory of medical institutions across the country is currently being conducted, which will help identify the need for new facilities in regions where it is truly necessary.
