The French Embassy in Moscow denied the information
According to a report from Politico, citing the European Commission, Russians will no longer be able to apply for multiple-entry visas. This means that for each trip to EU countries, they will need to submit a new visa application, allowing for more frequent and detailed checks of applicants.
Thus, the European Union has decided to further tighten visa requirements for Russian citizens. Exceptions will only be possible on humanitarian grounds.
However, following the statement from the European Commission, the French embassy in Russia denied this information, calling it "unfounded" and noting that the country's diplomatic policy remains unchanged.
