
In his opinion, a "just peace" can only be achieved if hostilities cease along the entire front line, after which negotiations may take place.
“Ultimately, all wars come to an end, and we hope that this war will also conclude. However, as I see it, a just peace must be established without preconditions and without territorial concessions,” Syrsky noted.
Currently, the negotiations regarding Ukraine are discussing Russia's demand for the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from Donbas, which is one of the main conditions for ending the conflict.
Andrey Sibiga, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, stated during a meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council that Kyiv will not accept "ambiguous security guarantees" and demands for a unilateral withdrawal of troops when concluding a peace agreement.
