He also highlighted the decrease in inflation and a 4.3% growth in gross domestic product.
According to him, "tariffs have brought us trillions of dollars in growth and prosperity, as well as the strongest national security in history. We are respected again, perhaps more than ever before. God bless America!"
A week earlier, Trump delivered an unscheduled address to the nation, in which he noted that when he took office, "the country was in chaos." He mentioned the severe inflation not seen in the last 48 years, as well as millions of illegal migrants, among whom there were allegedly convicts and murderers. All of this, in his opinion, was the result of the Democrats' policies.
