According to information provided by the Republican Center for Seismological Monitoring of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the tremors were registered at 15:38 local time, with a magnitude of 3.7 and an epicenter depth of 10 kilometers. The shallow depth of the epicenter contributed to the wide propagation of the seismic wave.
The strongest vibrations, reaching 2–3 points on the scale, were recorded in the Bakhmal and Bulungur districts. At the same time, weaker tremors (around 2 points) were felt by residents of the Taylak, Urgut, Jambay, and Gallyaral districts.
The situation in the Jizzakh and Samarkand regions remains stable. According to preliminary data from emergency services, no destruction or injuries have been reported. Seismologists continue to monitor the situation, but no grounds for concern have been identified.
