Peskov noted that currently information about the elections is mainly coming through the press and lacks official confirmation. He urged journalists to rely on primary sources rather than rumors and speculation.
At the same time, as reported by the Financial Times, citing its sources, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky allegedly agreed to hold elections together with a referendum on a peace agreement in the shortest possible time. According to the publication, the American side insists that this should happen before May 15.
