
According to MiddleAsianNews, Mongolia has counted its centenarians aged 100 and older. The data is updated annually, traditionally coinciding with the Tsagaan Sar holiday.
The largest number of centenarians resides in the capital district of Bayanzürkh.
As of February 13, 2026, there are 166 people in Mongolia who have crossed the 100-year mark. The oldest resident is 108 years old.
The report states that out of the total number of centenarians, 92 live in the aimags, while 74 are in the capital, including 128 women and 38 men.
The highest number of centenarians (18 people aged 100 and older) live in the Bayanzürkh district, 17 in the Khan-Uul district, 10 in the Övörkhangai aimag, and 7 in the Bayan-Ölgii aimag.
