
The U.S. State Department has strongly urged Americans to leave 16 countries in the Middle East due to safety concerns.
Assistant Secretary of State for Consular Affairs, Mora Namdar, stated in her message on platform X that "U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and the State Department recommend that Americans use any available commercial transportation to leave the specified countries as soon as possible."
The listed countries include: Bahrain, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Israel, the West Bank, and Gaza Strip, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, the United Arab Emirates, and Yemen.
On February 28, the U.S. and Israel began joint military operations against Iran. In response, Iranian forces started attacking Israel and U.S. bases in the region. On the night of March 3, authorities in Israel, the UAE, Syria, Qatar, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia reported that they had repelled missile attacks.
