At the meeting, Batsumberel emphasized the importance of long-term relations between Mongolia and Hungary, noting that the 76-year history of diplomatic ties has contributed to the continuous strengthening of cooperation between the two countries. In particular, he mentioned the fruitful interaction between parliamentary groups. The deputy also cited recent high-profile visits, such as the trip of the Speaker of the Parliament of Mongolia, Zandanshatar Gombojav (now Prime Minister), in 2024 and the visit of the Speaker of the National Assembly of Hungary, László Kövér, in 2023, which were significant steps towards deepening inter-parliamentary relations.
The Deputy Speaker Oláh, in turn, noted that the meeting resembled more of a friendly conversation than an official event. He emphasized the need to strengthen cooperation in the context of modern geopolitical and environmental challenges, especially in the areas of trade and investment.

The parties concluded that active cooperation between the parliaments is a key factor for the development of bilateral relations and for promoting interaction in areas such as science, culture, economy, and trade.
