In Kyrgyzstan, a large-scale scheme involving the import and sale of expired products disguised as "elite imported goods" has been successfully prevented. This was reported by the press service of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS).

According to the agency's information, Z.S.N., the founder of the company "Korzinка 312," had been importing expired goods and discounted products from abroad for several years. He then repackaged them, passing them off as "exclusive delicacies from Europe." These products were subsequently distributed through major markets, restaurants, and cafes, reaching end consumers.

During searches at warehouses in Bishkek, not only large quantities of expired products were found, but also a laboratory where expiration dates were altered, as well as pre-made counterfeit labels.

Special services reported that on November 27, all seized products were destroyed in accordance with environmental standards.

The SCNS, together with the Ministry of Natural Resources, urged entrepreneurs to abandon shadow schemes and focus on selling only quality and certified goods.
