During the inspection in the village of Kara-Zhyhach, it was found that the enterprises OsOO "S", "AKP", "ZKD", and "AP" did not comply with technological processes in the production of sand and gravel mixtures. They discharged contaminated wastewater directly onto the ground without resorting to necessary filtration and purification procedures.
Specialists from the regional office of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision for Bishkek and the Alamedin district conducted an examination, which showed that the uncontrolled discharge of dirty water caused environmental damage amounting to 7.1 million soms.
Based on the results of the inspection, the prosecutor's office initiated a criminal case under Article 298 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning violations of environmental protection rules during work activities. Investigative actions are ongoing to clarify all circumstances and hold those responsible accountable.
