“On December 30, around 8:00-8:30, after finishing the cleaning on Auezov Street, the workers were heading home when the tragedy occurred,” the city hall reported.
The mayor of the city, Aibek Junushaliev, arrived at the scene of the incident and ordered a thorough investigation into what happened and to monitor the situation.
After the search operations were completed, a decision was made to provide assistance from the reserve fund, as well as from the funds of the "Tazalyk" Trade Union Committee.
Currently, efforts are ongoing to clarify the circumstances of the incident.
