In Tajikistan, a Constitutional Court judge died after falling from the ninth floor
A tragedy occurred in Tajikistan: Constitutional Court judge Jamshid Jamshidzoda passed away after falling from the ninth floor. This was reported by local media.

Witnesses of the incident cannot definitively say whether it was an accident or an act of suicide.

A representative of law enforcement refrained from providing detailed information, only confirming that a criminal investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.

Jamshid Jamshidzoda, who was 52 years old, was appointed as a judge of the Constitutional Court in 2019 on the recommendation of the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, considering the quota for the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region.

Previously, he held positions in research institutions and served as a member of the Central Election Commission from 2011 to 2019. He is survived by his wife and three children.
