A tragic incident took place in the Kadamjai district, in Aydarken, where a man killed his brother. This was reported by the press service of the Interior Ministry of the Batken region.
According to law enforcement agencies, a 60-year-old woman called the emergency number 102 to report the violent death of her husband.
Based on the information received, a criminal case was opened under Article 122 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the investigation, it was established that on January 22 at around 14:20, a conflict arose between the two brothers due to long-standing disagreements. As a result of the quarrel, 70-year-old M.M. stabbed his brother in the chest with a kitchen knife, leading to the victim's immediate death at the scene.
The suspect was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility. The investigation is ongoing.
