The incident came to light thanks to a video recording
In Osh, the police detained a couple suspected of stealing children's goods from one of the stores, local law enforcement reported.
The events began to unfold on January 29, when a video was posted on social media showing a man and a woman with a baby in their arms discreetly placing items into their bag and leaving the store.
Following the appearance of this video, law enforcement agencies initiated a preliminary investigation.
As a result of operational measures, the identities of the suspects were established: 37-year-old Ch.T., a resident of Manas, and her 44-year-old husband Zh.A.
The woman admitted her guilt in the crime.
As law enforcement officials found out, this couple has five children, the youngest of whom is only four months old. They have previously had legal issues related to theft and fraud.
