
Members of the organization renounced extremist views after preventive measures.
The State National Security Committee (GKNB) conducted searches on January 22, 2026, in the homes of 18 members of the religious extremist organization 'Yakin Inkar' in the Issyk-Kul region. These actions were part of an investigation initiated in a criminal case, the press service of the agency reports.
During the searches, various religious materials deemed extremist were found with the suspects, as well as mobile phones, which were seized and recorded as physical evidence.
After the preventive measures were carried out, the participants of the extremist organization 'Yakin Inkar' publicly renounced their radical beliefs.
