The agency reports that some pawnshops do not comply with the requirements of the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On the Activities of Pawnshops," as well as the provisions "On Minimum Requirements for the Organization of Pawnshop Activities on the Territory of the Kyrgyz Republic," established by Government Resolution No. 353 dated July 8, 2017. In particular, cases were identified where civil passports, birth certificates, acts of private ownership, and other similar documents were accepted as collateral.
