Traffic Police: 900 people died in road accidents in 2025

According to information announced on February 6 at a specialized forum, in Kyrgyzstan in 2025, there were 8,456 registered road traffic accidents, resulting in the deaths of 900 people.

The number of injured in these accidents amounted to 12,169 people.

Additionally, data from the UN was presented, indicating that every 24 seconds, one person dies as a result of a traffic accident, and this figure reaches 1.3 million annually.
