A schoolgirl fell asleep during the trip, and the driver took advantage of this
Information about the arrest of the driver who committed lewd acts against the schoolgirl was announced during a meeting between the head of the Lenin District Internal Affairs Department, Ulan Berdibayev, and representatives of public transport.
As Berdibayev explained, the incident occurred when the girl fell asleep on the bus on her way home. As a result, the driver took advantage of the situation and committed unacceptable acts against her at the final stop.
Based on the initiated criminal case, classified under Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, the suspect was arrested.
In light of this situation, the head of the Lenin Internal Affairs Department urged drivers to comply with the law, maintain order, and show respect to passengers.
