The suspect filed a report of kidnapping and beating
Mukhabbat Kadyrova, a resident of the city of Osh, reported that her seven-year-old daughter became a victim of sexual harassment by a driver working at one of the private schools. The woman shared this case with the news agency "Akipress".
According to her, the girl began to experience fear of attending school. During the holidays, she confessed to her mother that the school bus driver had been paying her unwanted attention. The girl said that she was the last to get off the bus, after which the man offered her a drink that made her lose consciousness. He then took her to a secluded place where, as she described, he committed offenses, including touching and kissing. When the girl tried to complain, he threatened her, which led to her fear of men, nighttime tears, and refusal to attend school.
When the incident became known, the mother, along with her brothers, took the driver to the police, but according to her, law enforcement did not take any action and released him. The results of the medical examination are not yet ready, and the girl has not received counseling from a psychologist.
The school director, Rustam Salimov, confirmed that the administration is interested in a thorough investigation of the incident. He noted that the driver is not on staff but has been working under a contract for about a year. There have been no previous complaints about him.
The Osh Internal Affairs Department reported that two statements have been registered in this case: one from the girl's mother and the second from the driver himself, who claims that local residents of the Kara-Suu district forcibly detained him, held him in one of the private houses for 12 hours, beat him, and coerced him into confessing to committing lewd acts. An investigation is currently underway.
