According to reports from law enforcement agencies, on January 1, 2026, at approximately 8:00 PM, in the Ak-Bata new building, the criminals openly took away a mobile phone of the brand Redmi 15C from citizen O.Sh., which is valued at 10,000 soms, and then fled the scene.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding this incident under Article 206, concerning robbery, of the Criminal Code.
As a result of operational actions, officers of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Bishkek City Police were able to identify and detain the suspects, born in 2007, 2008, and 2010.
According to preliminary information, one of the detainees may be involved in other property crimes that occurred in Bishkek. The stolen phones, including Samsung A7, Redmi 11, and iPhone 7 models, were handed over for subsequent sale, and some of them were voluntarily returned to the investigation.
Currently, investigative activities are ongoing to establish all the facts of the crimes and identify possible victims.
