The audit revealed discrepancies in financial discipline, as well as violations of the current legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic in areas such as accounting, reporting, archival work, and internal control.
The total amount of identified financial violations amounted to 8 million 880 thousand 600 soms. As a result of the audit, 414 thousand 500 soms were restored to the city budget.
The audit materials were sent to the Bishkek Prosecutor's Office for further legal analysis.
The Bishkek City Hall continues to work on improving internal control and preventing corruption risks in subordinate institutions and municipal enterprises.
