An inspection conducted by the city prosecutor's office revealed that from 1999 to 2002, the local authorities of Naryn and the Naryn region committed serious violations of land legislation. As a result, three land plots were unlawfully transferred: one with an area of 1,500 sq. m, belonging to the M. Ryskulov Musical Drama Theater, as well as plots measuring 3,948 sq. m (located on S. Orozbak Street, on the territory of the flour market) and 495 sq. m (on At-Bashy Street).
As a result of the measures taken by the prosecutor's office, the total area of the returned land plots amounted to 5,943 sq. m, and their value was estimated at 185 million 920 thousand soms, as stated in the official announcement.
