According to the investigative authorities, B.M.B., born in 1992, who held a position in the law enforcement agency of the Kemin district of the Chuy region, has been detained.
The investigation established that while handling the case of the gang rapes of a minor, B.M.B. terminated criminal proceedings against two suspects, despite the findings of a forensic examination confirming their guilt.
Furthermore, to legitimize his decision, he coerced the minor into giving false testimony in defense of the suspects.
By the decision of the Oktyabrsky District Court of Bishkek, the detainee has been placed in custody in the GKNB pre-trial detention center.
The GKNB also plans to conduct a re-investigation into the case of the rape of the minor, and all those involved will receive an appropriate legal assessment.
