According to information from the GKNB, cruel and unconventional methods of "treatment" were used in these establishments. Patients were subjected to physical violence, electric shock devices were used, they were tied to beds and chairs, and placed in isolated rooms, which caused them serious physical and psychological harm.
During the investigation, powerful psychotropic substances were found and seized, which were used on patients in these institutions.
The following individuals have been detained: E.u.Ch., K.K.B., R.F.S., Zh.A.Z., K.E., R.V.G., and M.A.A.
The GKNB is currently continuing operational-search activities to clarify all circumstances related to the deaths of patients. A legal assessment of the incident will be provided following the investigation.
