As a result of the inspections conducted at these institutions, it was established that their staff employed unconventional treatment methods. In particular, they used physical force, electric shock devices, tied patients to furniture, and placed them in so-called "isolators."
Additionally, during the inspection, potent psychotropic drugs were found that were in restricted circulation and were used on patients.
It was also revealed that two cases of death among patients were recorded at the "Bishkek-Mayak" center.
As a result, measures of detention were taken against seven individuals from the management and staff of these rehabilitation centers — E.u.Ch., K.K.B., R.F.S., Zh.A.Z., K.E., R.V.G., and M.A.A.
The investigation is currently ongoing.
