It is important to note that measures had previously been taken against M.D.'s husband, including the issuance of protection orders due to instances of domestic violence. Nevertheless, despite such measures, he continued his unlawful actions, causing his wife increasing physical and moral harm.
In connection with the above, the actions of the suspect were classified as torture under the law. The investigative service of the Sverdlovsk District Police Department initiated a criminal case under Article 138, Part 3 "Torture" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Police officers brought the 46-year-old citizen M.D. to the investigative service, where he was detained in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code and placed in the temporary detention facility of the Bishkek City Police Department.
Currently, all necessary investigative and procedural actions regarding this criminal case are ongoing.
