The building of the editorial office of "Batken Tany," located in Batken, has once again become state property thanks to the actions of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB). Previously, this property had been transferred to private hands illegally.
According to official data from the agency, during operational investigative activities related to materials registered in the AIS ZHUI ERP, the building was returned to state balance.
In January 2010, the Ministry of State Property of the Kyrgyz Republic sold the specified building along with a land plot of 0.22 hectares, based on the government resolution dated September 17, 2008, No. 518, which concerned the privatization program for state property for 2008–2012.
However, it should be noted that this sale was conducted in violation of the norms of the specified regulatory legal act, despite the importance of the object for the state.
