The jewelry was sold to a pawn shop at a reduced price
In Bishkek, the police detained suspects involved in a fraud case related to jewelry worth 36 million soms, reports the Internal Affairs Department of the Sverdlovsk district.
According to law enforcement, on December 13, 2025, T. A. filed a report with the Internal Affairs Department. She stated that two women she did not know, identified as Ch. and N., managed to gain her trust. From November 18 to December 2, in one of the shopping centers on Kurmanjan Datka Street, they received jewelry for further sale.
The obtained jewelry was sold to a pawn shop at a lower price, and the money earned from the sale was not returned, and they disappeared.
In connection with this incident, a criminal case was initiated under Article 209 of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan.
As a result of operational measures, the identities of the suspects were established, and they were detained. They turned out to be Sh. Ch., born in 1985, and S. N., born in 1988. They were placed in the temporary detention facility of the Bishkek City Police Department.
The investigation is ongoing.
