From November 18 to December 2, in one of the shopping centers on Kurmanzhan Datka Street, they received jewelry for sale with a total value of 36 million soms.
According to the police, the fraudsters then sold the jewelry at a reduced price to a pawn shop and disappeared without returning the money.
Based on this fact, a criminal case was initiated under Article 209 "Fraud" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During operational search activities, employees of the Sverdlovsk District Internal Affairs Department were able to identify and detain the suspects – Sh. Ch., born in 1985, and S. N., born in 1988. They were taken to the investigative department and placed in the temporary detention facility of the Bishkek City Internal Affairs Department.
The investigation is ongoing.
