
In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, an 18-year-old girl was detained for extortion. According to information provided by the Internal Affairs Department of the October district, she is accused of demanding 5 million soms from a man under the threat of criminal prosecution.
A citizen, M.A., filed an official complaint with the Investigative Service, stating that since January 2026, a girl named A. had systematically extorted money from him, threatening violence and imprisonment, as well as using other methods of psychological pressure.
As a result of the investigation, a criminal case was initiated under Article 208 (Extortion) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. During operational activities, the identity of the suspect was established, a citizen K.A., born in 2007. She was detained while illegally receiving 300,000 soms. The girl was sent to the Investigative Service and, in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, was placed in the temporary detention facility of the Main Internal Affairs Department of Bishkek.
