The incident occurred on December 12, 2025, when a 77-year-old woman contacted the police. She reported that she had fallen victim to a scam by individuals who identified themselves as law enforcement officers and transferred 850,000 soms to them.
The case was registered under Article 209 ("Fraud") of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan.
Police officers were able to detain the suspect, who turned out to be A.Z., born in 2004. He has been placed in a temporary detention facility.
Currently, an investigation is underway to identify other participants in this crime.
