According to the police, this inspection took place from February 17 to 19 in the Batken district. During the raid, foreigners engaged in labor activities were informed about the rules for staying in Kyrgyzstan and the requirements of migration legislation. Additionally, they were given appropriate warnings.
The Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Migration reported that in 2026, 52,000 jobs will be allocated for foreign labor migrants. Initially, in 2025, 25,000 quotas were allocated, which were later increased to 42,000.
Among the countries requesting labor quotas in Kyrgyzstan, China, India, Turkey, and Pakistan are in the lead.
Since last year, the distribution of labor quotas has been under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
