On December 12, 2025, a 76-year-old woman living in Bishkek contacted law enforcement authorities. According to her statement, the fraudsters posed as law enforcement officers and deceitfully took her money in the amount of 850,000 soms.
This crime was registered under Article 209 ("Fraud") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
As a result of operational activities, police officers detained a young man named A.Z., born in 2004. He has been placed in a temporary detention facility.
As part of the investigation, the search for other participants in the criminal scheme continues.
