A citizen approached the police asking to investigate a young man who claimed to be the son of a high-ranking police officer. He offered his services for 20,000 soms, guaranteeing assistance in recovering money, but ultimately deceived the complainant.
According to the registered case, this crime falls under Article 209 ("Fraud") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The law enforcement agencies detained the suspect, who turned out to be I.U., born in 1997. During the investigation, it was revealed that neither of his parents has any connection to the law enforcement agencies. An electronic bracelet was applied to the young man.
