Tax authorities prevented the distribution of the cargo
A truck containing 11 tons of expired confectionery products was detained in the Kyrgyz Republic. This information was provided by the State Tax Service.
During the inspection of the vehicle, inspectors found 4,179 boxes of candies and other sweets, although the documents indicated only 7 tons of total cargo weight.
In addition, other undeclared goods were discovered in the vehicle:
- paints and primers;
- antifreeze additives and accelerators;
- waterproofing materials;
- reinforcement bars.
Employees of the State Tax Service drew up reports at the scene, sealed the vehicle, and sent it to a towing lot. All collected materials were handed over to law enforcement agencies for further action.
